Omaha-based Upholsterer/Writer/Photographer
Many moons ago while in college, my Grandma gave me her orange barrel chair on casters. This chair, now considered a midcentury modern find, was the first chair I reupholstered in leopard print fabric. Back then, smartphones and digital photography weren't available to track my progress and I've since misplaced those old printed 4x6 photos—and the chair.
Fast forward to a few years ago, I quit my writing job at a local business publication and trained in the art of upholstery under uber-talented Bridey Rathjen of Paradise Upholstery. Now I'm building my upholstery business, hauling home vintage furniture in my minivan to refurbish and sell on my website. My clients range from individuals to commerciaial, from Victorian to MCM to postmodern style.
